What is discipleship?

“Discipleship is teaching biblical precepts, while modeling and guiding others toward living righteously as followers of Jesus Christ.” Rather than just learning about God, one of the most important characteristics of being a disciple is developing an intimate relationship with God through Christ.

Here at New Song we do a nine-week study (sometimes more) in a one-on-one setting that covers topics such as: The Attributes of God, The Bible, Spirit Filled Life, and Obedience, to name a few. It should be said that discipleship is an ongoing process. We should never quit learning and growing in our relationship with Christ. Through the discipleship ministry here we are excited to help you take that next step in your faith journey.
